Dear Teacher, Hi, I hope you’re having a wonderful week! First of all, thank you so much for the detailed update on Sunny. It has already been about two weeks since she started school here in the US, and we are so relieved and happy to see how well she is settling in, all thanks to your guidance and support. At home, we’ve noticed that while she is adjusting nicely, she still seems a bit shy and lacks confidence when it comes to speaking up. She made a friend recently, but it sounds like they are both the quiet type—I think she only speaks about five sentences a day at school! It seems like she overthinks and hesitates for a long time before saying anything because she wants to get it right. We would really appreciate it if you could gently encourage her to just speak out loud, even if her grammar isn't perfect or if she makes mistakes. Building that quick output confidence is our main goal for her right now. Thank you again for your patience and dedication to Sunny's learning. We feel so lucky to have you as her teacher!
